| Obverse description | The entire field is struck in antique finish and rendered as an interlocking jigsaw puzzle surface, evoking the tactile texture of assembled puzzle pieces across a stylized aquatic landscape inspired by Monet's Water Lilies series. At left center, the arms of the Republic of Cameroon — a shield bearing scales of justice, flanked by the national motto in both French and English — appear in relief against the puzzle-textured field. The denomination 3000 FRANCS CFA and the date 2021 are inscribed vertically at center, with the silver fineness Ag .999 noted above. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN is distributed across the lower left field, while the cursive inscription Water Lilies and the artist attribution CLAUDE MONET appear in the lower portion of the coin. A small grouping of selectively colored puzzle pieces at center right introduces a vivid chromatic accent of blue and green, representing a partial glimpse of Monet's celebrated painting. |
