| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central raised disc, rendered in fine relief with detailed hair modelling. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper left rim, with 3000 FRANCS CFA continuing to the upper right, and the date 2024 at the right. The inscription REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON curves along the lower rim, flanked by two raised dots as decorative stops. The Cameroonian coat of arms appears at the base of the legend, and the fineness mark AU 999.9 is inscribed in the lower field of the portrait disc. An inner beaded border separates the raised portrait disc from the dark polished outer ring. |
