| Obverse description | A classical Greek temple atop a rocky mountainous summit, rendered in high relief, occupies the central field, framed by radiating sun rays in the background and dramatic billowing clouds. The temple is encircled by a large laurel wreath with finely detailed leaves, below which the mintmark 'XXI' and the fineness inscription 'Ag999' appear in the lower field. The date '2023' is inscribed above the wreath. The surrounding legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' arcs along the upper periphery, while '3000 FRANCS CFA' and '3 OZ' are distributed along the lower and lateral margins. The entire design is bordered by a continuous Greek meander (key) pattern forming a decorative band around the coin's edge. |

Cameroon's high-relief collector coinage is struck under contract by the Monnaie de Paris, which has produced commemorative issues for francophone African states since the CFA franc zone was formalized in 1945. The 3000 francs denomination exists entirely outside circulation — it has no monetary function in the domestic economy and is marketed exclusively to European and Asian collector markets.
