| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon is depicted centrally, featuring a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a star, flanked by two crossed fasces with axe heads. The national motto appears in bilingual form flanking the coat of arms: 'PAIX / PEACE' to the left, 'TRAVAIL / WORK' at centre, and 'PATRIE / FATHERLAND' to the right. The legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' arcs along the upper periphery, while '3000 FRANCS CFA' is inscribed in large characters along the lower periphery. The silver fineness mark 'Ag 999' and the bilingual country name 'REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' appear on a ribbon below the shield, with the date '2019' struck in the field above the arms. |

| Reverse description | A highly detailed, high-relief en face depiction of the Gorgon Medusa occupies the full field, rendered in antique finish with strong sculptural modelling. Her flowing hair is intertwined with numerous serpents, several of which rear their heads prominently, while additional snakes coil at her neck and crown. Her eyes are set with diamond inserts, lending a striking three-dimensional quality to the composition. The face conveys a solemn, intense expression consistent with classical mythological iconography. The design is framed by a continuous Greek key (meander) border running along the entire inner periphery of the coin. |
