| Obverse description | The obverse presents a striking composite design in which the outline of the Mask of Agamemnon is superimposed in bold relief over a detailed depiction of the Lion Gate at Mycenae, rendered in antique-finished silver with finely engraved ashlar masonry filling the field. The architectural background faithfully reproduces the cyclopean stonework and the monumental gateway with its triangular relieving lintel. The denomination legend '3000 FRANCS CFA', the issuer inscription 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN', and the date '2021' are incused within the lower portion of the mask's beard area. The fineness mark 'Ag 999' and the mint mark appear in the lower exergue below the primary design. |
