Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of a white rabbit in three-quarter profile, rendered in delicate low relief with exceptional naturalistic detail in the fur texture and whiskers, set against a background of stylized auspicious cloud scrolls. A large, luminous full moon occupies the upper right field, evoking the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival association of the jade rabbit. The cyclical stem-branch characters '癸卯', identifying the lunar year of the Rabbit, appear subtly within the design, while the denomination '300元' is inscribed in the lower right field. The overall composition reflects the refined artistic style characteristic of Chinese lunar commemorative coinage.

Additional information

China's annual lunar bullion series shifted its kilogram silver format to a 100mm planchet beginning with earlier animal cycle issues, but production of these large-format pieces remains tightly controlled through the China Gold Coin Corporation, the sole authorized distributor. Mintage ceilings on kilogram silvers in this series have historically been set at 6,000 pieces — low enough that secondary market premiums accumulate quickly after the initial allocation sells through.
