Reverse description A detailed high-relief scene depicting the first Evangelical communion in the Church of St. Nikolai in Spandau on 1 November 1539: a priest stands centrally administering the chalice to the kneeling Elector Joachim II, while his wife and attendants kneel and stand at either side. A multi-line inscription in German occupies the lower exergue, with the engraver's signature and date below.
