| Obverse description | The field depicts a detailed multi-figure scene in high relief showing the presentation of the Augsburg Confession: Emperor Charles V, enthroned at left attended by ecclesiastical figures, receives the document from a kneeling chancellor, surrounded by a group of Protestant princes and delegates. The engravers' signatures G. LOOS DIR. and C. PFEUFFER FEC. appear in the lower exergue, with the date AM 25 IUNI 1530 inscribed on a raised panel below the scene. The circumferential legend runs around the entire border of the medal. |
