Obverse description Traditional Nepalese yantra-style design featuring a central square panel subdivided into six compartments bearing the royal name and titles of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script. The name reads across the registers as श्री श्री / श्री पु वीरेन्द्र / वीर विक्रम / शाह देव, with the Vikram Samvat date 2043 inscribed in Devanagari numerals at the base within a stylized cartouche. The entire composition is framed by a beaded border running along the coin's rim, with decorative diagonal line elements and floral motifs at the corners of the central panel.
