| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Susanna Blunt, depicted wearing a pearl necklace and earrings with neatly coiffed hair. The bust is rendered in high relief against a fine guilloche latticework background that radiates across the entire field, evoking the security printing of historical Canadian fractional currency.
