Reverse description The reverse displays the full Canadian Royal Arms of Canada rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, with the quartered shield supported by a lion rampant to the dexter and a unicorn to the sinister, surmounted by a crowned lion statant guardant on a wreath. The motto scroll beneath the shield bears the Latin inscription 'A MARI USQUE AD MARE' (From sea to sea). Decorative scrollwork occupies the lower flanking fields, echoing the ornamental style of the obverse. The date '20 04' is divided above the arms, and the denomination '300 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower rim in bold raised lettering.
