Reverse description The reverse is dominated by the royal cipher EIIR surmounted by a St. Edward's Crown rendered in high relief at the upper centre of the mirror-like gold field. Flanking the cipher, the commemorative dates 1952 and 2002 arc across the upper field, marking the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. Below the cipher, the inscription CANADA appears in bold capital letters, and beneath it a large Tudor rose in high-relief selective frosting occupies the centre, flanked by two symmetrical sprays of detailed maple leaves in relief. Elegant scrollwork tendrils frame the central motifs, while the denomination 300 DOLLARS is inscribed in large lettering along the lower rim.
