Obverse description Central vignette bears a portrait of Charles I Robert d'Anjou (1288–1342), King of Hungary, facing right in period attire. Inscriptions identify the subject with dates and the Kremnica mint city, commemorating his 1328 royal charter granting Kremnica minting privileges. The designer credit appears in the lower margin as "M. GABRIS DIG. DEL."
