| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a raised eight-pointed Maltese cross, flanked to the left by the large letter R and to the right by the large letter F, the initials standing for République Française. The denomination T. 30 is inscribed in the upper portion of the field, above the cross. The date 1800 appears in the lower field, beneath the cross. A circular pierced hole is present at the left edge of the planchet, characteristic of this emergency issue. The entire design is struck in relief on an irregular, roughly rectangular silver planchet. |
