| Obverse description | Red-orange and black letterpress Notgeld note with a bold black outer border enclosing decorative corner vignettes of stylised foliate scrollwork. The issuer name 'Gemeinde Kurzenmoor' is set in large blackletter script across the centre, flanked left and right by two circular denomination medallions each reading '30 PFENNIG'. A serial number panel appears at the top centre, and the lower portion carries two handwritten official signatures above a dotted-border text panel stating the expiry date of 31 December 1921. The printer's imprint 'Konrad Hanf' and 'Hamburg' appears in small type at the lower margin. |
