| Obverse description | Draped bust of Ferdinand of Bavaria facing left, attired in episcopal robes with ecclesiastical collar, set within a beaded inner circle. The denomination XXX (30 patards) appears below the bust. The surrounding legend in Latin identifies the issuer as Ferdinand, by the grace of God Bishop of Liège. The portrait is rendered in the late Renaissance style typical of early 17th-century Low Countries coinage. |
