| Obverse description | Draped bust of Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria, facing right, wearing a long flowing allonge wig in the late Baroque style. The truncation of the bust is decorated and a small star appears at the base. An abbreviated Latin legend encircles the effigy, reading across the field in segments separated by dots, identifying the ruler by his titles. The whole is enclosed within a beaded inner border with a milled outer rim. |

| Reverse description | The Bavarian lion rampant, crowned and holding a sword, stands to the right atop the ornate, crowned electoral coat of arms of Bavaria, featuring the distinctive lozengy (diamond-checkered) shield quartered with other dynastic arms and surrounded by an elaborate baroque cartouche. The denomination numeral 30 and the date appear divided around the central device, with the legend LAND MINZ running across the field. A beaded inner border and milled outer rim frame the design. |
