| Obverse description | Draped bust of Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria, facing right, wearing a long flowing allonge wig in the late Baroque style. The truncation of the bust is decorated and a small star appears at the base. An abbreviated Latin legend encircles the effigy, reading across the field in segments separated by dots, identifying the ruler by his titles. The whole is enclosed within a beaded inner border with a milled outer rim. |
