| Reverse description | Within an incuse diamond-shaped (lozenge) frame matching the obverse, a crowned Imperial double-headed eagle is displayed, its wings spread, bearing on its breast an elaborate shield with the quartered arms of the Habsburg dominions. The date '1760' appears to the left of the lozenge and the mintmark 'X' (for Hall Mint) to the right. The abbreviated Latin legend surrounding the outer field reads 'ARCHID AUST DUX BU CO TYR', denoting Maria Theresia's titles as Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, and Countess of Tyrol. The engraving exhibits the refined baroque craftsmanship characteristic of the Hall Mint's output during this period. |
