| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Charles VI facing right, with long flowing wig, the crown of laurel leaves atop his head breaking the upper legend. The effigy is rendered in the high-relief Baroque style characteristic of early 18th-century Habsburg coinage. The legend is arranged in a continuous arc around the periphery, interrupted at the top by the portrait. The field is smooth and well-struck, with fine detail in the hair and drapery. |
