| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green on cream paper and centres on a landscape vignette enclosed within an ornate cartouche of curvilinear Art Nouveau scrollwork. The vignette renders a riverine scene on the Danube with a barge and steamship on the water, a timber quay in the foreground, and tree-lined banks receding into the distance. The denomination '30 HELLER' appears in bold letterpress numerals flanking the central vignette at left and right, with the issuer's name 'GEMEINDE AU a.d.D.' in large decorative script across the lower panel. |
