Világítási és Vizmű Részvénytársaság — a utility company, specifically a lighting and waterworks joint-stock corporation — had no business issuing currency. But in 1920, post-war Hungary's small change shortage was acute enough that municipal and quasi-municipal bodies across the country produced their own szükségpénz to keep local commerce moving. Székesfehérvár's utility firm was one of dozens of non-banking entities that stepped into the gap the state couldn't fill.

The Adamo MSZK catalogue documents this as the SZF-1.2 variant, implying at least one other emission in the series — likely a printing or paper distinction rather than a denomination change.
