| Reverse description | Central device consisting of a large ornate cross fleury, its four arms elaborately decorated with stylized foliate and floral motifs radiating outward from a central oval cartouche bearing the denomination inscription XXX DUCAT in two lines. The fineness mark 980 appears in small characters below the central device at the base of the field. The legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI curves along the upper periphery, while AUREUS MAGNUS is inscribed in large letters along the lower periphery. Two small ornamental dots flank the legend on each side at the mid-field, all struck in deeply mirrored proof finish. |
