| Obverse description | Gold foil non-circulating note issued to commemorate Antiguan independence in November 1981, with the entire surface executed in relief on a dark background. The central vignette presents an aerial coastal landscape with rolling terrain and shoreline rendered in embossed gold, flanked at left by an oval vignette of the national coat of arms and at right by a portrait medallion of Queen Elizabeth II.
