Reverse description The reverse features a centrally placed, boldly struck high-relief depiction of an ox viewed from behind, standing squarely in the field with its tail raised, capturing the strength and solidity associated with the animal in Chinese tradition. The date 2009 is inscribed vertically along the left side of the field, and the Chinese character 牛 (Ox) appears to the right of the central motif. The inscription 1 KILO 999 SILVER is engraved in a straight line along the lower portion of the field. The entire design is encircled by a beaded inner border.
