| Obverse description | Gold foil note issued to commemorate Antigua and Barbuda's independence in November 1981, with an embossed central vignette of a sweeping coastal seascape rendered in high relief against a dark background. The national coat of arms appears in an oval medallion at the lower left, while a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II occupies a matching oval at the right; ornate floral and scroll corner devices frame all four edges. The denomination "30" appears in each corner, with the title "THIRTY DOLLARS" in a recessed panel at the foot and a facsimile signature of the Minister of Finance at centre-left. |
