| Obverse description | The obverse features the Cabinda coat of arms at the top center of the triangular field, above a depiction of a sword set within a stone. The commemorative dates 1975 and 2005 flank the central device to the left and right respectively, marking the 30th anniversary of independence. The denomination numeral '30' appears prominently, with the legend 'BANCO DE CABÍNDA' and 'INDEPENDÉNCIA' inscribed in Latin script. The lettering 'B C' and 'ANOS' appear in segmented form around the central design elements. |

| Additional information |
Cabinda is an Angolan exclave separated from the main territory by a strip of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and its secessionist movement — led primarily by the FLEC factions — has sought independence since Portuguese decolonization in 1975. The "Banco de Cabinda" has no recognized legal standing; these pieces were issued as fantasy or propaganda tokens, not circulating currency, almost certainly produced outside Cabinda itself for the separatist cause or the collector market.
The X# reference prefix in Krause cataloging denotes non-circulating or fantasy issues, which places this squarely in that category.
