Reverse description A large Cross of the Order of Christ occupies the center of the field, its arms decorated with five roundels each bearing a quinquefoil flower, rendered in high relief. The four quadrants formed by the cross arms each contain an additional quinquefoil ornament. The circular Latin motto legend surrounds the central cross, punctuated by trefoil stops, with a milled border encircling the entire design.
