Reverse description A large, boldly struck spread eagle displayed in the center field, rendered with fine feather detailing on the wings and body, its head crowned and turned to the right. The eagle holds a scepter and orb in its talons, symbolizing imperial authority. A crown surmounts the eagle above, with the circumferential Latin legend DVX BVRGVNDIAE COMES TIROLIS running around the beaded inner border. The design fills the circular field within the square klippe flan, typical of Tyrolean hammered coinage of the early seventeenth century.
