Reverse description A large prancing horse leaping to the left dominates the upper field, depicted in high relief above a detailed panoramic view of the Harz mining district. The lower portion of the field features an elaborate Ausbeute (mining yield) scene with mine shaft entrances, headframes, workers, fences, and surrounding trees, conveying the industrial wealth of the region. A decorative laurel and floral wreath borders the upper rim of the coin, with a beaded outer border encircling the entire design. The initials 'CL' appear on the horse's flank, identifying the issuing duke.
