Reverse description An ornate cross pattée occupies the central field, with the provincial arms of Zeeland displayed at the crossing. The reverse legend, separated by pellet stops, encircles the design within a beaded border. A castle mint mark appears at the termination of the legend. The execution is characteristic of hammered provincial Dutch coinage, with slightly irregular strike consistent with hand production.
