Obverse description Central quartered shield of arms surmounted by a count's crown, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The quartered arms display the heraldic charges of the Lordship of Reckheim, with the individual quarters rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style typical of minor Netherlandish lordship coinage of the early seventeenth century. A circular Latin legend runs in the outer field, partially visible due to the irregular flan, reading MONETA NOVA ARGEN R 3 S, denoting the new silver coinage of Reckheim valued at 3 stuivers.
