Reverse description The crowned royal arms of France, comprising three fleurs-de-lis on a shield, are displayed centrally within a wreath formed by two symmetrical branches of laurel tied at the base. A circular legend reading 'SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTUM' flanks the wreath along the periphery, with the date '1767' and mint mark 'A' in the exergue area. Prominently applied over the center of the shield is an oval countermark bearing the letters 'R F' (République Française) enclosed within a dotted border, punched during the 1793 revaluation for use in Guadeloupe.
