Reverse description Victoria, personification of military victory, stands facing right and inscribes a votive legend upon a large round shield set upon a column. The shield is supported from below by a kneeling Genius figure acting as a caryatid. The composition is a standard late Roman formulaic type associating imperial victory with dynastic vows. The reverse legend VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM N N encircles the scene, while the votive inscription VOT XXX MVLT XXXX appears on the shield itself. The mintmark SMR, denoting the first officina of the Rome mint, appears in the exergue.
