| Obverse description | At the top, a vignette of Daikokuten, the deity of fortune and wealth, seated atop two bales of rice; below, a series of text cartouches arranged vertically with a large red official seal stamp at centre. The lower register carries a wave vignette with two turtles, beneath which an ornamental government seal in seal-script calligraphy is framed on both sides by semicircular wave-pattern borders. |
