| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate crowned cipher of Bishop Francis William of Wartenberg, composed of interlaced initials F and W surmounted by a princely crown with cross finial. The monogram is rendered in bold relief and flanked by decorative foliate and scroll ornaments. The entire design is enclosed within an inner beaded or rope border, with an outer ring of continuous scrollwork and floral motifs filling the broad rim. |
