Obverse description At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia with wings lowered, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The legend ТРИ РУБЛЯ (THREE ROUBLES) arcs along the upper rim, with the date 2002 positioned along the lower rim.
