Obverse description At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, depicted with wings lowered, enclosed within a beaded circle. The legend ТРИ РУБЛЯ (Three Roubles) arcs along the upper rim, while the date 2004 appears at the lower rim. To the left of the emblem, the metal designation and fineness (Ag 900) are inscribed; to the right, the fine metal content and the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) are indicated. The design follows the standard obverse type adopted for Bank of Russia commemorative silver issues of this period.
