| Reverse description | The reverse presents a detailed architectural cityscape of Grozny rendered in high relief against a frosted field. The prominent central motif is the Heart of Chechnya Mosque (Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque), depicted with its large central dome, four tall minarets, and ornate subsidiary cupolas. Behind the mosque, the silhouettes of modern high-rise buildings of the Grozny-City complex are rendered in satin finish, creating a striking contrast between the frosted foreground and the polished background field. The Cyrillic legend ГРОЗНЫЙ is inscribed in the lower exergue, with the founding date осн. в 1818 г. beneath it. |

| Additional information |
Grozny was almost entirely destroyed during two Chechen wars between 1994 and 2009, and the United Nations at one point called it the most destroyed city on Earth. The 2018 issue commemorates its reconstruction — a politically loaded subject in Russia, where the rebuilding of the city under Ramzan Kadyrov has been treated as a federal success story, heavily subsidized by Moscow.
