| Reverse description | A detailed relief depiction of the Sergiyevo-Kazansky Cathedral in Kursk occupies the left and centre of the field, rendered in fine engraving against a mirror-polished proof field. The cathedral is shown in three-quarter perspective, displaying its Baroque architecture with a multi-tiered bell tower surmounted by a cross-topped cupola, flanking onion domes, and a classical portico with columns at the entrance. To the right, a stylised tree and ornate Baroque foliate scroll decorations frame the composition. The Cyrillic legend «СЕРГИЕВО-КАЗАНСКИЙ СОБОР» arcs along the upper rim, with the city name «КУРСК» inscribed at the bottom of the field. |
