| Obverse description | At center of the mirror-polished proof field, the State Emblem of the Russian Federation is depicted in high relief: a double-headed eagle crowned with three imperial crowns, holding an orb and scepter, with a shield on its breast bearing the mounted figure of Saint George slaying the dragon. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ curves along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, flanked by two small rhombic ornamental devices at either side. Below the eagle, the inscription БАНК РОССИИИ / 3 РУБЛЯ / 2018 г. is arranged in three lines.
