| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-colour photographic-quality enamel depiction of the Grand Peterhof Palace and its celebrated Grand Cascade fountain ensemble, viewed from the Lower Park. The Baroque palace facade, rendered in vivid yellow and white, spans the upper portion of the composition, while the tiered Grand Cascade — adorned with gilded sculptural groups and jets of water — descends prominently to the lower centre, leading to the large circular Samson Fountain pool in the foreground. The surrounding silver field is decorated with ornate scrollwork cartouches framing the colour scene. The inscription СИМВОЛЫ РОССИИ (Symbols of Russia) is engraved in Cyrillic across a raised panel in the upper portion of the silver border, and ПЕТЕРГОФ (Peterhof) appears in a corresponding panel at the lower border. |
