Obverse description The obverse features the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle displayed, each head surmounted by a crown and the whole topped by a larger imperial crown with a ribbon, the dexter talon grasping an orb and the sinister a sceptre, with a central shield bearing the mounted figure of St. George slaying the dragon. The emblem is rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, flanked by two decorative lozenge ornaments to either side of the eagle. Below the emblem appear the inscriptions БАНК РОССИИ, 3 РУБЛЯ, and 2022 г. in three lines, while the fineness designation Ag 925 is inscribed to the lower left of the eagle and the weight indicator 31,1 to the lower right, accompanied by the СПМД mint mark.

Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed commemorative composition celebrating the Chuysky Trakt highway. At centre, a stylised horseshoe motif — its arch formed by a winding road rendered in relief — frames a circular emblem of the Altai Republic at its centre. To the left of the horseshoe rises a broad-canopied deciduous tree in high relief, and to the right a tall conifer, both flanking a panoramic background depicting an Altai mountain landscape with a river valley rendered in satin finish against the mirrored field. A schematic map panel in the upper left portion of the field traces the route of the highway with key city names marked in Cyrillic: НОВОСИБИРСК, БАРНАУЛ, БИЙСК, ГОРНО-АЛТАЙСК, and ТАШАНТА. The legend ЧУЙСКИЙ ТРАКТ arcs prominently along the upper periphery in bold Cyrillic lettering.
