Obverse description Central device features the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, displayed with wings spread and two crowned heads facing outward, set within a beaded inner circle against a mirror-polished field. The denomination '3' appears to the left and the date '1996г.' to the right along the upper arc of the legend. The inscription 'БАНК РОССИИ' (Bank of Russia) curves along the lower portion of the coin, with the fineness 'Ag 900' and weight '31,1' inscribed in small characters beneath the eagle. The Moscow Mint mark (ММД) appears below the central device, flanked by small decorative mint privy marks.
