| Obverse description | At the centre of the obverse, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia is depicted with wings lowered, set within a beaded circle. The surrounding field carries the denomination legend «ТРИ РУБЛЯ» (THREE ROUBLES) arching along the upper rim and the year of issue «2005» along the lower rim. To the left of the central device, the metal purity designation «Ag 925» is inscribed, while to the right appear the fine metal content «31,1» and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram «СПМД». The legend «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA) appears in a semicircular inscription beneath the eagle within the beaded circle. |
