| Obverse description | The Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed in the centre of the field, with wings spread and each head crowned by a small imperial crown, surmounted by a large central imperial crown above. The eagle bears on its breast a shield depicting St. George slaying the dragon, surrounded by the collars of Russian imperial orders. The right talon holds an orb and the left a sceptre. The mint master's initials appear in the lower field below the eagle's tail, flanking the central design. |
