Reverse description A detailed portrait of Aleksandr Sergeyevich Pushkin occupies the centre of the field, depicted holding a goose quill pen; before him on a writing desk lie a manuscript, a candle, and a woman's portrait. In the upper right background, a figure from his tragedy «Mozart and Salieri» is rendered, accompanied by a sheet of musical notation and a violin to the upper left. In the lower portion of the field, a figure from the narrative «The Queen of Spades» appears alongside a playing card to the right, while below the desk personages from the tragedy «The Stone Guest» are depicted with a sword to the left. Across the centre of the field, the inscription «АЛЕКСАНДР ПУШКИН» (ALEKSANDR PUSHKIN) is lettered in a stylised cursive script, flanked by the birth and death dates «1799» and «1837».
