The VOC company monogram stamp appears at upper left and lower right, with the circular Coat of Arms of Colombo seal impressed at lower left and upper right. The trilingual denomination legend is set in Dutch, Sinhala, and Tamil scripts, with the numeral 3 centrally placed.
