Reverse description Plain round field bearing six large Chinese characters arranged in two rows of three, reading 省足三 / 平紋錢, indicating Provincial Scale Fine Silver and the denomination of 3 Qian. The inscription is rendered in bold relief with formal squared brushstroke characters typical of late Qing official coinage. An inner raised ring frames the legend, with a continuous border of evenly spaced raised beads encircling the full periphery of the coin.
