Obverse description Central field occupied by a crowned, four-quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of Sweden: three crowns in the first and fourth quarters, and a lion passant in the second and third quarters, with a central escutcheon displaying the Vasa sheaf. The ornate royal crown surmounting the shield features foliate and scroll detailing. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery of the coin, interrupted by punctuation marks serving as word dividers, enclosed within a beaded border.
