Reverse description A Imperial orb bearing the numeral 3 in its lower half, indicating the denomination, dominates the center of the reverse field. The orb is surmounted by a cross fleury and flanked on either side by the divided date 17 - 12, with the mint initials C and M positioned below the date numerals. The design is rendered in a compact, functional style typical of small German States coinage of the early eighteenth century, set within a milled border.
